 Europa Ar-Lindo in KosovoRecently, Europa Ar-Lindo Constructions SA, an Europa Ar-Lindo SGPS SA group company, bid on four construction projects in Kosovo, winning one with an EUR 11 million approximate value.
It's a Multifunctional Sports Center construction, consisting of a multi-purpose pavillion (Omnisport), and a sports hall (Minatori), both in Mitrovica's city, 30km away from the capital, Prishtina. European Union funded 100% of the contract, which will have a 24 months duration, 60 days for the project's implementation and the remaining twenty and two months for its execution.
At the moment, the structure's work is already underway, having already the upper-level staff moved to location, and remaining staff is constituted by local workforce.
In search of new markets, this Braga's construction company enters the Balkans, foreseing the execution of half of the contract's value in Kosovo, until the end of 2012, about five million.
By the end of this year, the CEA expects to earn about €55 million, 20% more than the amount turnover in 2011, which is greatly dued to the increase in the export market, mainly in Mozambique, where are the highest number projects in portfolio.
Given the current national situation, the international market is one of the vectors of growth and expansion activity in Europa Ar-Lindo. The adopted strategy by the Directors of the company, is increasingly betting on the international market and, at the moment, set a presence in markets like Mozambique, Angola, Kosovo and more recently in France and Brazil.
